There are plenty of opportunities to nibble at home, on the bus, in front of the television.
The reasons why people nibble vary: stress, tiredness, or greed.
Rather than pounce on a packet of crisps or a bar of chocolate, you can plan to take some healthy snacks with you to have mid-morning and/or in the afternoon.
These will consist mainly of fruit, dairy products or cereals:
• an apple rather than a bar of chocolate
• cream cheese rather than a cream dessert
• a pain au lait (bread made with milk) rather than a pain au chocolat (chocolate-filled croissant)
