To stay healthy, it is recommended that you should exercise every day.
Adolescent school-leavers should take exercise for at least one hour a day, and young children even longer.
Any type of physical activity is beneficial! By practising even a minimum of sport, we protect ourselves against cardio-vascular diseases. All endurance sports give us an opportunity to exercise our heart and to strengthen it.
Some advice on getting exercise:
• walk, use a bicycle, skateboard or roller to get to school, depending on the distance
• walk up the stairs rather than taking the lift
• join a sports club
• go to the swimming pool with friends
