The staff restaurant of the Credit Suisse Tower in Zurich Oerlikon, run by DSR, has won first prize in the Business & Care category at this year's «Best of Swiss Gastro Awards».

FLEXI-SELF : THE FORMULA FOR SMEs

Flexi-Self is an adaptable and ‘turnkey’ concept. It enables an SME, thanks to the acquisition of catering equipment, to receive daily all the products that make up the foods required for lunch.

It generally consists of:

• the dish of the day (hot meal) ;
• the salad buffet (crudités and starters) ;
• the dessert of the day;
• a choice of drinks and mineral water.

These meals are prepared on the same day in a DSR kitchen located close to the company. Since they are prepared with fresh products, the meals can of course be supplemented, depending on requirements.

A good meal should be served and consumed in an environment that is designed in the best-possible way. That’s why the Flexi-Self formula requires the purchase of a limited amount of equipment that is essential to operating a catering service.

In general, the investment is moderate and represents an amount of approximately CHF 30,000.00. Thanks to this equipment, the restaurant will resemble a ‘miniature’ version of a real one. Moreover, this mobile equipment is cleaned and put away at the end of each session, thus freeing up space.
