The main areas relating to DSR’s environmental policies are as follows :

1 – Continually improve its actions to protect the environment
2 - Recover and recycle its waste, in particular:
• food waste
• packaging materials made of PET
• glass
• tin plate
• paper
• cardboard
• used vegetable oil.
3 – Include environmental criteria in its cooperation agreements with its suppliers, to guarantee that :
• the suppliers take back the packaging.
• the suppliers use vehicles that appropriately meet Swiss anti-pollution standards.
4 – Use products and packaging that respect the environment.
5 – Apply and promote the laws in force in DSR’s area of activity, and implement any other measure it considers necessary to ensure that the environment, as well as the health and safety of work of its staff, are respected.
6 – Choose company vehicles with features that are environmentally friendly (consumption, CO2 emissions).
7 – Prevent the danger of impacts or accidents, by informing and training its staff at all levels, especially managers, on good environmental practices relating to their job. This prevention is in tune with our determination to reduce the consumption of energy, of natural resources, and to guard against the risk of accidents.
8 – Offer its customers, as far as possible, operating methods and design engineering plans that optimise the use of resources.
9 – Apply the directives of the Federal Law on Foodstuffs with regard to GMOs.
10 – Put in place all the tools necessary to achieve its environmental goals.
11 – Establish a culture favourable to the environment at all levels of the hierarchy.
12 – Provide information each year, through its annual report, about its environment programme and the results.
