The proportion of senior citizens continues to grow in Switzerland and will only stabilise in a few decades time. It should be noted that advances in medicine and hygiene, among other things, have resulted in a significant lengthening of people’s life-span. Consequently, we must give our senior citizens all the attention they deserve.
